Park Afternoon / Nature Photography 📸 | Ecency

In Villahermosa usually every day is very hot, and although we have been living in this city for 5 years it has been difficult to adapt to the high temperatures of this part of Mexico. During the quarantine we had to endure high temperatures locked up in the apartment and although we have air conditioning sometimes it was not enough to keep the room very cool. But thank God now we can go out to the park when the temperature is very high.

En Villahermosa usualmente todos los días son muy calientes, y aunque ya tenemos 5 años viviendo en esta ciudad ha sido difícil adaptarse a las altas temperaturas de esta parte de Mexico. Durante la cuarentena tuvimos que soportar altas temperaturas encerrados en el apartamento y aunque tenemos aire acondicionado a veces no era suficiente para mantener la habitación bien fresca. Pero bueno gracias a Dios ahora podemos salir al parque cuando la temperatura esta muy alta.

Several days ago, the temperature was around 40 ºC so at 2 o'clock in the afternoon we decided to go to the park and take advantage of the free breeze of nature instead of locking ourselves in with the air conditioning, although I must confess that when it is very hot and humid being outside does not help much either.

Hace varios días, la temperatura estaba alrededor de los 40 ºC entonces a las 2 de la tarde decidimos irnos al parque y aprovechar la brisa gratis de la naturaleza en vez de encerrarnos con el aire acondicionado, aunque debo confesarles que cuando hace mucho calor y humedad estar afuera no ayuda mucho tampoco.

We lay down under the trees, I went prepared with my camera to take some pictures of the birds and squirrels that roam the park, of course I also took the opportunity to photograph my husband from a distance.

The good thing about going to the park at that time is that there are not many people and the birds can be seen from closer up.

Nos tumbamos debajo de los árboles, yo me fui preparada con mi cámara para aprovechar de tomar algunas fotos a las pájaros y ardillas que rondan por el parque, claro también aproveche para fotografiar a mi esposo desde la distancia.
Lo bueno de ir al parque a esa hora es que no hay mucha gente y las aves se dejan ver desde más cerca.

While my husband was busy with his business I was walking around with my lens to see what photo opportunity presented itself to me. In one of my searches I found in the distance a bird called Zanate (Quiscalus) which is the black one above, and I also saw this little woodpecker looking for insects in a dry bush, for my good luck I had my 75-300mm lens installed and I was able to capture it before it escaped me.

Mientras mi esposo estaba ocupado en sus asuntos yo recorría el lugar con mi lente para ver que oportunidad de foto se presentaba ante mí. En una de mis búsquedas encontré a lo lejos un pájaro llamado Zanate (Quiscalus) que es el negro que esta arriba, y también ví este pequeño pájaro carpintero buscando insectos en un arbusto seco, para mi buena suerte ya tenia instalado mi lente de 75-300mm instalado y pude capturarlo antes que se me escapara.
