I honestly didn't know what photos to take to participate in this contest. I've seen great photos from great photographers participating and it intimidates me. I love macro photography of insects and flowers, but I don't have a macro lens that allows me to take good macro photos to be able to compete, still, that didn't discourage me and I decided to get out of my comfort zone and do something cool with what I have (My cell phone and a magnifying glass for macro photos with cell phones). I looked around the house for things to photograph and of the many things I found and photographed, it was the photos of the screws that caught my attention. I got distracted taking so many that I had to make a selection of the best ones.

Honestamente no sab铆a que fotos tomar para participar en este concurso. He visto fotos geniales de grandes fot贸grafos participando y eso me intimida. Me encanta la fotograf铆a macro de insectos y flores, pero no tengo un lente macro que me permita tomar buenas fotos macros para poder competir, a煤n as铆, eso no me desanim贸 y decid铆 salir de mi zona de confort y hacer algo genial con lo que tengo (Mi celular y una lupa para fotos macros con celulares). Busqu茅 en la casa que poder fotografiar y de tantas cosas que encontr茅 y fotografi茅, fueron las fotos de los tornillos las que me llamaron la atenci贸n. Me distraje tomando tantas que luego tuve que hacer una selecci贸n de las mejores.

Por supuesto si se trataba de tornillos no pod铆an faltar las de los destornilladores. Este diminuto destornillador es el que usamos para ajustar los tornillos de las bisagras de las varillas de los lentes, sean estos de sol o de leer.
And here I extended a little bit more, it was a fun photo session that I thought why not give some prominence to a cable and another small screw that asked me to photograph it too!
Y aqui me extend铆 un poco m谩s, fue divertida la sesi贸n de fotos que pens茅 porque no darle algo de protagonismo a un cable y a otro peque帽o tornillo que me ped铆a que lo fotografiara tambi茅n!
