LCP is a Lead Capture Page, its purpose is to capture a person’s name and email address in return for a fee course, infographic, ebook, etc. The purpose is to incentivize a person to join your subscriber list.
If you can not code do not worry there are a lot of online services that will be able to help you with that. I have made a few tutorials on Vimm, 3Speak, and YouTube.
Believe It or Not
List building is the foundation for most businesses. When I say most businesses I am talking IBM, Walmart, Pizza Hut, and Pepsi, those names are huge and they spend millions to get your name and email address. If massive Fortune 500 companies are List building then we as little business people should really do the same.
My father once told me building a business is easy you just find someone that did it before you and copy them. This was back in the mid-80s, and he was not wrong. Most of the Success Gurus preach that you must find a mentor. I have about 10 mentors whom all have their own unique ways of doing things.
Never Act Upon Blind Faith
Test, test, and test some more use what works for you and trash everything else. We are all very different people, with a unique life history that has prepared us for different situations. What works for Dave, will not work for Ralph, and what works for Ralph may not work for Cindy, and I find things that work, Cindy hates.
The above names are fictitious, but they serve as a good example to illustrate that different things work for different people.
People Do Business With People
This sounds weird but it is true. 100s of people maybe 1000s are all repping the same companies and services that you are, but what sets you apart from them? How have you branded yourself? If all those people are trying to sign me up for xyz why should I sign up under you?
The above questions are insanely important. Over the years I have noticed that the people using their own LCPs are usually the ones that offer instruction there is a way to get a hold of them and they offer instruction and valuable personal advice.
