Hello Steemers and good morning from Kuala Lumpur : )
My travelbuddy @manuelbee and I just arrived in KL, Malaysia a few days ago and are looking forward to explore the country and the beautiful islands.
The first days we explored downtown and visited the Batu Caves and the Petronas Towers - one of the greatest tourist attractions around KL.
Arriving at the Station of the Batu Caves (wich is the last stop of the line - so you can easily get there by using the metro), you can see a big Hindu-Statue, which is located at the bottom of the staircases. Going up the staircases one has a beautiful view over KL - that alone was worth the visit. When one has managed going up all the stairs, one can explore the Caves in the little mountain - this was not as spectacular as we thought it would be.
During the evening we have been at the Petronas Towers and inside the Mall. One of our favorite meals are the freshly squeezed juices and the fresh-made Sushi-Boxes of the supermarket, which is located at the basement of the Mall.
In front of the main entrance of the Mall there are astonishing Water-Light shows at night.
After the little water-light show we went to the "sky bar", which is a great place to meet other people and relax with a few drinks. If you want to go partying, we would recommend "Zouk", which is a place in downtown KL with a variety of bars and clubs.
The Hotel we are staying in right now (Facesuites) has a roof terrace with an infinity pool, from were you can enjoy a beautiful view on downtown KL - btw the rooms are huge (ca. 80m2).
I'll keep you up to date and tell you were it's worth to go in my opinion!
Cheers and steem on,
your mb-viator
