Sibolangit campground is located in Sibolangit District, this place is actually not intended for tourism, but only for campsites because of the large land, good location and there are also small forests and small rivers around the area. Sibolangit is usually very busy visited by school students in various areas in North Sumatra with scout programs or nature lovers programs in existing youth communities.
In the Sibongit area, actually we can also find some very beautiful and beautiful waterfalls, but to reach this waterfall you have to pass a steep, slippery and winding road because this waterfall is in the forest and besides road conditions, to reach we have to walk to this place for about 1 hour. And must use a guide so as not to get lost and one person will be charged Rp. 50,000.

The area of the Sibolangit campground is very wide, so you are free to determine where you can set up a tent, but what you need to pay attention to is looking for a campsite that is close to toilet facilities or canteens, so you don't have to go far when you have difficulty urinating. or big water.
If you are camping but don't want to use camping equipment then you can rent a house there and it can accommodate about 20 people with toilet facilities and mat and a large yard.
Because when we captured the moment in this place it was still during the covid 19 pandemic, so we didn't find many Scout groups camping. Only a few groups of young people camped there.
And you need to know that in Sibolangit, before the covid 19 pandemic, we could sit back and relax on a wide and green expanse of grass, look at the still beautiful forest, watch a community guitar playing show that camped just for entertainment. Watching scouts collect firewood to make bonfires at night, witnessing how mentally they are ordered by Scout seniors with tiring physical activities so that they can become independent and not whiny human beings. I miss that activity with my friends while teaching 😔😞
Hopefully our Earth will recover soon from this covid 19, so that we can all do normal activities without fear, Aamiin
