Last Monday was Ryzen’s first day of school!
He is 3 years old now and will turn 4 this coming August, so we decided to enroll him in a nearby daycare center here in Polangui.
To be honest, I think I was the one feeling more excited and overwhelmed. Hahaha… It’s my first time being a mom of a “school kid,” and I had all sorts of feelings... happy and nervous. 😅
When we walked into the classroom, the room was so pretty, bright, and full of colors.
Good thing Teacher Irma did such a wonderful job arranging and decorating the space to feel fun and very kid-friendly.
Then, I let Ryzen pick out his own chair, and then we headed to the lovely photo backdrop set up just for the first day.
It was colorful, eye-catching, and perfect for memories.
Then after snapping some photos, Ryzen spotted the slide where other kids were already playing.
He asked if he could join... And of course I said yes. Seeing him run and play made me feel at ease.
After that, he went back to his chair and grabbed some paper and crayons, and started scribbling and drawing.
Also, while the kids played, Teacher Irma held a short orientation for us parents.
She explained everything we needed to know like fees, the list of school supplies, and other things to prepare, and even details about their uniform.
And before we left, she gave us a paper with a print of “First Day of School” to cut out and place on our children’s foreheads.
Then took one more set of photos, to share with the local municipality for their records.
And that's how Ryzen’s first day came to an end.
Expect more school stories soon. Hahaha
Until my next memories with Ryzen...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
