Yesterday became a happy day at my parents' house. All because two very special people finally came home. 🥰
Our cousin Dodo and his wife Claire arrived last Tuesday, after being away from us for quite some time. So, as we heard they would be back, we started to plan a celebration to show how much we've missed them.
And so, the secret mission began. 🤫
Ate Lanie became our mastermind. She created a group chat and laid the whole plan there. We would throw a surprise welcome-home party, and they must not suspect a thing. She told Ate Claire that the gathering was actually for Auntie Moneth and Uncle Eugene, whose celebration was already held last week. 😄
Everyone pitched in. My sister and Mika worked hard on the backdrop, which turned out beautifully. Perfect for the occasion.
We also brought our own share of food, which filled the table with all our favorite home-cooked dishes, prepared with love. 🥗
Then, as we were all gathered there, it had been an hour already. 😅 They went to the market first to buy medicine for Ate Sarah, so we had to be patient. We were always peeking and whispering, "Are they here yet? " Hahaha
And finally they arrived! 🎊
We all shouted "WELCOME BACK!!!" the moment they stepped in. Ate Claire cried, of course. 🥹 They were shocked and so happy. They even brought a cake, thinking it was really for Auntie Moneth and Uncle Eugene. 😂
