Hello everyone! How’s your day going?
Today I want to share a lovely event we attended... my Uncle’s wedding celebration.
They actually had their formal wedding earlier that day at a really nice restaurant. But since so many relatives, neighbors, and family friends couldn’t make it there, they decided to throw another gathering right at their house so no one would miss out. That’s such a thoughtful thing to do. 🥰
We arrived in the afternoon, and the place was already buzzing with people. Many came from the morning ceremony, while others like us just got there. There was such a happy atmosphere everywhere you looked.
When we saw the food table, it was buffet-style, and definitely a meat lover’s feast.
There was menudo, caldereta, and so many other delicious dishes that I wanted to try. 🤤 Some people were still lining up to get their plates, others were already eating happily, and some were chatting while resting after their meal.
Of course, we didn’t forget to greet and take photos with the newlyweds.
They looked so happy and glowing. After we ate, we even got free ice cream for dessert. Perfect treat after all those savory dishes.
It may have been a simple celebration at home, nothing too fancy like the restaurant wedding... But I know how much effort and expense went into making sure everyone felt welcome and full. And honestly? This kind of gathering feels even more special because of the laughter, the familiar faces, and so much love. Wishing my Uncle and his wife a lifetime of happiness together! ✨
