If you’ve been following my updates here, you already know this past week Ryzen came down with a fever and sore eyes. And now, Aiden also caught the same thing.
For four days straight he has watery eyes, plus a stubborn cold that keeps him irritable.
So today, we brought him to the nearby clinic for a proper check-up.
When we got there, the staff were so gentle with Aiden. She took his temperature, writing down all his symptoms, noting his age and weight, then guided us to the doctor’s room.
The doctor asked us again about when the fever started, how his eyes look, and if he’s eating or drinking well. After examining him carefully, she wrote down the medicines he needs and gave us tips on how to keep him comfortable at home.
Then after that, because we’re registered with Yakap, we got most of the prescribed medicines for free!
It's just that the specific eye drops he needs for his sore eyes weren’t available at the clinic.
So we went to the pharmacies.
First one, they were out of stock. Second one, the same thing.
My hubby checked Southstar Drug, and they had it. But the price was way higher than we expected, so we decided to hold off buying it for now.
We already have the other medicines from the clinic. He just needs lots of fluids. So that's what we’re giving him little by little.
Right now he’s sleeping. So we just need to follow the doctor’s advice, give him the meds on time, and hope his little body fights this soon. It’s hard seeing him sick, but I’m so grateful for the free help we got today.
Sending big hugs to all mamas and daddies tending to sick little ones right now... you’re doing great, and this will pass soon. 💛
Until my next daily life...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
