Today would be a quiet day by the piers. They stood tall yet very close to the water. I could hear the lake move in unison beneath me with a gentle rhythm. Swishing and splashing at regular intervals, it was like a melody being played to my ears.
This would be yet another perfect moment to close my eyes and meditate a little. Focusing my senses, the wind, waters and now even birds became distinct. Sharpening the senses is something I have always pondered around and I sometimes think that meditation is a way to focus on the inner and also outer environment.
