Time spent outdoors is well spent in the sunshine, breezing winds and fabulous scenery that Spiez is famous for. I was lucky enough to spend a short time at a small lodging complex on the hills and was greeted by friendly staff. I am often used to staying in high rise tower hotels that are very much orientated towards providing a bed, amenities and everything else within its doors.
The difference between city and a life among nature is vast and refreshing. Smaller lodge cabins with multiple floors made my stay feel cosy and relaxing.
