Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returned to his vomit, so a fool returned to his folly.
Like the dog returned to his vomit, that's how bad people always doing evil they and don't want to change
In the true church, thing are been done without pushing or forcing things are been done voluntarily from the heart.
Question
The good things we do,are they the commandment of God?
As a Christian there are some things we do without been told to do so. We do it voluntarily
Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
It is very important to obey your vows and keep to it. Not doing tribulations or u need something from God you make alot of promises after God answered you,you forget about the vow. It is wrong and prohibited. We should always learn to keep to the things that comes out of our mouth.
Acts 18:18 And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.
Breaking our vows with God is prohibited
Ecclesiastes 5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
It is better we don't make a vow at all than making a vow, and not for fill it.
2nd Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give ; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
What we are to give to God or anyone should be done voluntarily or according to your heart.
We are meant to also understand that even donations should be done willingly according to your heart not by force . There should be no fixed price for donations it's totally wrong.
Psalms 116:18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people,
Just like what David did, he offered a Thanksgiving as vow before God's people. So lets emulate what David did by paying his vow.
It is appropriate before God if we do things voluntarily especially offering him Thanksgiving
Hebrews 13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
It means we are meant to always appreciate God for the everything he has been doing for us. We should always appreciate him for life because many are in the hospital and many are in the mog but you and I can breathe freely is enough to appreciate God for.
Psalms 50:23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
God is well pleased with our Thanksgiving because that's all he wants from us not our food or clothes not even our houses all what he wants is Thanksgiving.
In conclusion,the things we are meant to do voluntarily includes contributions, Thanksgiving and even doing good. We should not do all this because we are been told to do so or we are been forced. We should always do them voluntarily.
