Mother

Hi friends of Steemit, here I bring you a work done under a concept that I hope touch your hearts and make you reflect, as it deals with the burden that each mother carries with her, it is the weight of responsibilities, of the sacrifices they suffer for their children……
Saint Augustine of Hippo, father and doctor of the church who was professor of oratory and converted to Christianity by his mother, raised in a metaphorical sense that Mary had also been crucified, because at the time of the crucifixion of her son Jesus, a piece of her was there, not only because of the pain of seeing a loved one die, but because that body that was being sacrificed was flesh of her flesh ...!
This piece I carved in clay, then make a mold with plaster, then do the casting with a mixture of gypsum and marmolina, measuring 37cm high, then I put a wooden cross, in order to create the concept. Make it with a lot of love dedicated to all the mothers who make so many efforts and sacrifices, whom we love we can not avoid giving them headaches ....
