This is my drawing for the day. It is the reflection of light and shade. In this drawing, I used diagonal strokes for the face and vertical strokes for the background.
For me, I see sketching as the basic and essential component for a strong design required and an indispensable course for all future artists and designers.
Sketching requires the connection and relationship between the eye and the hand. We watch, study and then pen down what we observed. Pen or pencil becomes the medium through which our thoughts, ideas and/or knowledge are transformed forms.
Working with pencil/pen is the best possible tool cause you can easily get it anywhere and practice to your fullest.
Skills acquired from pencil/pen sketching are easily carried over to other artistic and/or design subjects, and the benefits are enormous.
