It is always nice to encourage yourself to embrace change and take up that new challenge. I know I usually think of what the outcome would be but we won't learn something new if we don't try new things.
Today, I tried out working with different variables and procedures by using heavy and visible strikes to achieve some new to me.
I made my sketching by laying light strokes
Now I start working over my sketching with deep strokes. While still making adjustment where necessary.
Could have left it this way but I needed something more.
So I added textures by laying tones and shading which give the work its beauty.
My intention was to give this work a different feel and I hope I got that right.
