This work is a juxtaposition of two distinct characters and conditions to createa scene - they appear to be a jointed face.
Between the two identifiable faces, there is a man on the cross and the cross divides the two faces.
In this drawing, the two faces share one eye which made their eyes to be three instead of four. This eye is at the center of all. It Absorbs the two faces to form a connection.
The first face is looking somewhere else while the the second is looking towards your direction.
There are tears dripping down the second's chin and landing at the ape like creature's face. The ape took the position of its mouth.
Beside the mouth, you can see a man kneeling donw with his two hands claps and facing the man on the Cross.
Life looks so complicated for the second face unlike the first, which life looks so cool and easy going.
