where i live people dont worry about food because this country is a social democratic wellfare state. also a lot of the beaucracy has already been digitalized, so people can continue calling government offices from home, and many work from home, mostly using a company VPN... people who are unemployed get due to corona virus a 3 month extension additional to the 2 years for receiving unemployment money. unlike what i see from US or UK, the supermarkets still have food and toilet paper, and there are plastic screens installed in take outs and supermarkets. people are still free to go out whenever they want but are obliged to keep distance from one another, and people actually follow those rules. hand sanitizer bottles are installed at entrances.
honestly i think im lucky to currently live in this country during the outbreak :D
