Why do rewards have to be linear to vote vests? If voters get encourages to upvote good original content by for example a logarithmic relationship log(1+x) then curration rewards get divided among more people if the post got upvoted by a lot of bots. This would hurt less the small blogger. Parameters could be added and tweaked to have desired experience.
