This is a very tiny leaf-footed bug nymph that I managed to find resting on a mango leaf in front of my house. When it is still young, this insect is deep black in color and looks very much like a spider or an ant when seen from a distance. However, its color will change to dark brown as it grows. It is extremely small in size, so I had to photograph it with the help of a macro lens to capture every detail of this insect clearly. Unfortunately, I only managed to take three pictures of it.

Although it has a very intimidating appearance, this bug is not dangerous to humans at all because it cannot bite or sting. However, we should not underestimate this insect. Farmers are probably already very familiar with this bug, as it has become a natural enemy of farmers because it can feed on and damage various types of plants growing in plantations.

This insect is still very tiny, and most likely, it is not yet able to fly. So, whenever it starts to feel threatened, it will immediately drop itself to the ground.
Alright everyone, now I am going to share some pictures of this leaf-footed bug here.
