While I was sitting with my friends in front of the house, suddenly there was a caterpillar hanging from its silk thread right in front of me. At first, I thought it was a spider, but it turned out to be a black caterpillar. When I saw this caterpillar, I started wondering whether the silk thread used by this caterpillar is the kind that is often used for making silk. It kept hanging there and continued extending its thread as time went by.
From a distance, there was nothing particularly special about this caterpillar. It had a familiar shape with an ordinary-looking color, but I was immediately amazed when I looked at it from up close. It had a cylindrical, elongated, and plump body, with clearly visible and prominent segments running along its entire body. However, I don't know whether this caterpillar can cause itching or swelling, and no one dared to try touching it.
After photographing this caterpillar using a macro lens, I immediately moved it to a tree branch.
