I managed to find a very unique little insect in front of my house. This insect is smaller than an ant, and almost its entire body appears to be transparent. The most noticeable features are its two large, bright orange eyes, and there are also two long tails hanging from the back of its body.
After searching for information about this particular insect on Google, it turned out that this is a mayfly, an insect with a very short lifespan. I cannot say whether the population of this particular insect is considered stable or not, because I myself very rarely encounter this insect.
Photographing it was also quite difficult because of its extremely small size. It was not possible for me to photograph it using a mobile phone camera, so in order to get the best possible results, I tried photographing this insect with the help of a macro lens.
I managed to find this insect on a ketapang leaf in front of my house, and after photographing it, I just left it without disturbing it.
