Today, I came across a spider in my cocoa plantation; I found it resting on wild foliage. It had a slender body with a noticeably large abdomen, long legs that splayed outwards to the sides, and fine hairs covering its entire body. While I cannot identify the exact species, I find it to be a particularly unique-looking spider, and I am quite fascinated by it. Up close, the spider appears brownish-black; this coloration makes it easy to spot against grass or leaves, yet conversely, when it rests on tree bark, its brown hue allows it to blend in perfectly with the wood.
Upon finding the spider, I immediately decided to photograph it using a macro lens so that every detail—from its shape and size to its coloration—would be clearly visible.
This spider remained motionless on the leaves, making it easy for me to photograph. Although I only managed to take five shots, I am extremely satisfied with the results.
