I once again managed to find a small assassin bug in my cocoa plantation. This particular insect is quite small and has a striking red color, with black coloring on its legs and both of its antennae. It is still in the nymph stage, or the stage when the insect is still small and has not yet developed wings, so it can only walk around while searching for food on wild plants.
I feel very happy to have this insect in my plantation because it can prey on various types of plant pests, such as aphids and other types of bugs. To get detailed results, I had to photograph it with the help of a macro lens, and I was immediately happy when I saw the result.
This particular insect is very easy to spot because of its extremely striking red color. This color makes it easy for us to find the insect because it contrasts strongly with the color of the leaves and its surroundings.
