This is a wildflower that grows on a vine; it is easily found in my village and actually poses a serious threat to local farmers. Personally, I really dislike these kinds of vines because they can be messy and,being climbers,they often spread over other trees, becoming quite a nuisance. The plant has fine hairs along its stems and vines; while it might look a bit intimidating at first glance, it doesn't cause itching or swelling, so it is safe to touch. The flower itself is incredibly beautiful, especially with its striking purple hue, though its small size means its beauty is often overlooked. If it didn't belong to a climbing vine, I might actually be interested in cultivating it in front of my house. To properly capture the beauty of this flower, I decided to photograph it using a macro lens—so, let’s take a look at the results.
This plant also bears fruit that looks similar to pea pods, however, according to my father, the fruit is inedible—though I do not know for certain whether it truly cannot be eaten.
