The rainy season has caused many of my activities to be postponed. The rain also makes the surroundings more humid, the ground slippery and muddy, and the river water flow very fast. However, there is one other thing that I don't like about the rainy season, and that is the mosquito population also increases.

Usually, there aren't too many mosquitoes during the daytime, but when the rainy season arrives, their population increases and they become very annoying. Today, I did a lot of work in my plantation, including clearing the edges of the plantation to plant oil palm seedlings. There were so many mosquitoes that I had to light a fire to create smoke, but it was only temporary because as soon as the smoke disappeared, the mosquitoes came back again.

There was a mosquito that landed on my arm, and it felt quite itchy and very annoying. I tried to swat it, but it didn't die, so it was still able to fly. Then, this mosquito landed on a tree branch, but because it was quite large, I became curious and decided to take some pictures of it.
