I managed to find a colony of ants that were resting on some wild grass, but I myself did not know what these ants were doing. It looked like they were grooming the grass.Based on their appearance, these are most likely red ants that live in colonies on trees. They are not pests to plants, so we do not need to worry about their presence even when they are found in large numbers. These ants are generally tea-red in color, and they are not aggressive ants and do not like to bite, but we still should not play around with them.
We can easily find this type of ant in my area. In fact, they have a very large population on the mango tree in front of my house, so I meet them almost every day.Because of their small size, I had a little difficulty photographing them. These ants also kept moving, making it very difficult for my camera lens to focus on their movements.
