Yes there shot be some workshops where you can paint your own cow. usually Yanaizu shouldn't be too crowded so every season will be fine. But maybe autumn will be the most beautiful when all the fall colors

was just thinking of KLF yesterday!! :)

good choice! If you want to get close to those red cows you need to head to a town called Yan-aizu. The whole story of the akabeko derives from there and you can encounter those big red fellows upclose.

well, we weren't actually drinking therem just taking a break and enjoying the atmosphere. Near the water is simply the best place for that!

I guess I am more the Sherlock Holmes type. I have watched some Colombo some decades ago, and it was good, but I like the whodunit style more. That’s why I am quite into Agatha Christie as well. Great

That is what I’m talking about. When I’m coming close to the water I’m always a little cautious. But I’m enjoying myself at the same time

It is a small castle from which unfortunately not much is left. just some walls, a gate and a few turrets. but that still makes quite an impression!

thanks a lot!. I really appreciate your support!

o yes, Osaka-jo is way bigger than Shibata-jo, but I don't think you will get such a nice sunset there. Thanks for stopping by, have a nice day!

but even some of those "concrete monstrosities" can be quite interesting - like the Osaka one or the one in Aizu Wakamatsu. But yes, the Shachihoko should have quite a relaxed life these days.

this is exactly what I wanted to say - this city has so many interesting sides, all the more during cherry blossom season!

cheers!

thanks a lot for your support!

Japan has so many great places, Nagasaki is only one of them!

it is a place I highly recommend!
