A special day for farmers around my community
Greetings my well wishers, today I'm just full of happiness. Because today is 'Orie Market'.
In South East, West African Zone. We have four market days. Which are:
1. Orie.
2. Afor.
3. Nkwor.
4. Eke.
The above names, are the four market day's we have , here in south East.
Many region here are either using one as their market day, or the other. But my community use (Orie) as our market day. Iโm glad because today is a pay day for me and other local farmers. I'm taking some of my produce 'Garri', to market to sell. The products have appreciated in price. below is the picture: ๐๐๐
Imagine going to market with a huge quantity of produce, as shown in my truck. How much will you make for the day? Letโs see. As a farmer, I farm to make profit out of it.
The sales, turned out to my favor, and that made me to come back to my store to get some more as demands surpassed supply. As shown in the picture, below:
This dealer, followed me to my store, to buy some from my store room since they couldnโt get enough from market.
As you can see, he is stitching his goods. After sealing the bag, below is how it will look like:๐๐๐
It is best to be self-employed person, and I enjoy being a farmer than working under a private company or Government organization.
In agriculture, the three most lucrative crops grown in Nigeria are cassava, maize, and rice. Cassava is widely grown throughout the country. I invested more on cassava. Which is yeilding me more income than the other.
I hope i was able to give you some information on fast crop yeilding in Nigeria.
Thank you for stopping around.
