My Actifit report of today.

Welcome dear friend. Yesterday I outlined a forecast of my activities for today, and I’m grateful that grace saw me through.

It was one of my busiest day. Let start with those things that I outlined yesterday.

Connecting peas to stick poles.

I promised to show you how it looks like, cowpea is an intelligent crop, there are two types of cowpea; the ground pea and climbing pea. The one here is climbing type which does well on trees or sticks.

This time around, I mixed cropped them with maize. This is my second cultivation this farming season and at this spot, I’ve harvested the first crops. This second batch is also doing marvelously well.

Like I was saying, connecting peas to sticks when they’re tender is ideal. Once they take hold of the sticks, that all. I’ll keep you updated on the progress of this garden as they will soon occupy my fence.

Second thing that I promised to bring to my blog today is my cowpea harvest at one of my other farms.

We had good time at the farm harvesting the cowpeas today. We’re not selling them anymore; if it were to be in Crypto world, we’ll say that we’re ‘hodling’. We’re preserving our cowpeas by drying them under the sun. The mild temperature keeps them dry, and with their nutritional value intact.

They may serve the family as food later or generate income for us, either way is win win.

Refreshing time!

After the very busy day, I picked fresh farm crops from my farm, went home to my new house and prepared them. Surprised? I’m a good cook before I married, and still maintain my cooking habit till tomorrow. Yes I missed meals from my wife’s kitchen since they’re not here with me, but then, my wife will be proud and relaxed knowing that I’ll be taking good care of myself.

The freshness of the food was great, tasteful and yummy 😋.

Time will not permit me to detail the recipes, but just know that my garden is not an ordinary garden; it’s THE GARDEN OF EDEN where everything fresh and assorted.
