In 2014 I had a funny order, why amusing? Because it was necessary to do either a logo, an image for a business card or something, something indefinite but beautiful, showing the essence of the owner of this order. The most important thing is that I do not do anything like that, but since I was friendly with the customer, I could not refuse.

- There must be a triangle in the image.
- There must be some movement, concentration.
- And the main picture should be the most beautiful and better than all the rest!)
As my military correspondent said: "The tasks are set - the goals are defined!" You can start. I started thinking on paper, I wanted to do something original, something not straightforward - a butterfly in a triangle. After some reflection, I dwelled on the following -
The triangle will be inside the butterfly (the main one), also the butterfly itself will consist of sets of different triangular shapes, and the whole design will be like gathering in front of us, or rather we should see the completed stage of the movement, it will be shown on the left wing. The sketch was so:
Exactly, it looks dumb, but it's a start, so it's not bad.) But it was more complicated later. Sometimes it happens that the simplest things are given hard, as it happened when drawing a triangle in Photoshop, since I painted everything by hand, the triangle did not want to work in any way.
I found a way out in the Jewish proverb: "If something is going on incomprehensible or does not work out - go to sleep." I did so, waking up everything fell into place - the contour was drawn without much difficulty:
Now we had to show the light (conditional) and how the faces reacted to this light, as well as to outline the image of the triangle inside the butterfly. And I did not draw a mustache - it looked stupid and not serious as for me.) So the image began to look like this:
So, the picture became more or less similar to what I need, left to separate from the left wing some of the faces and scatter below the fragments:
Now it is necessary to show the movement, then as a butterfly gathers from these faces into a single whole, for this I used other layers and transparency of the same facet debris, thus creating the illusion of movement in a certain direction, to the butterfly:
The triangle decided to show as something a whole and not subject to distortions and deformations. Now, of course, I would have done a lot differently, but at that time I considered many solutions to be correct. The triangle inside the butterfly eventually became a gray, as it were a hidden figure. Next, I will give some examples of what was.
