I am a fan of how Warren Buffett thinks regarding to investing even though I have reservations on his personal life. In any case today I want to reflect on another quote of his.
The future is never clear; you pay a very high price in the stock market for a cheery consensus. Uncertainty actually is the friend of the buyer of long-term values.
That part I am intrigued at is "Uncertainty actually is the friend of the buyer of long-term values." Through my time of investing in cryptocurrency I have come down to the fact that I need to stick to investing in the asset class in order to see real rewards.
Take BTC for example, it took close to a decade to reach five digits. Value don't often grow over night. Furthermore BTC price has dipped several times over the decade and this is likely due to the uncertainty. Uncertainty allows investors opportunity to buy more.
Uncertainty is our friend here. As the old saying goes the only things certain in live is death and taxes.
