In a matter of days cryptocurrency has dropped somewhat in market cap, but looking long term the whole market is under $2 trillion while the US stock market is worth $30 trillion. There is just too much potential in growth to not believe cryptocurrency has more room to rise.
There have been multiple studies by investment firms regarding the potential earnings of investing through dollar cost average.
A 2012 study by Vanguard found that historically investing your money in a lump sum vs. dollar-cost averaging produced better results 66 percent of the time. The longer the time frame, the greater the chance that investing all at once beat dollar-cost averaging, the study found.
Even Warren Buffet mentioned patience in the market is key to success.
Successful investing takes time, discipline, and patience. No matter how great the talent or effort, some things just take time: You can't produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant.
In 2020 when Covid hit and the central banks eased the financial markets but massive money printing and kept rates low. The results are what we see today. Progress can not be made in two years since, it is for the long haul.
As a believer in cryptocurrency I have a long term investment in the assets. I will be here for many days to come even if prices continue to fall because at the end I am going to believe the class of assets will be much more valuable.
