A few hours ago the DHF proposal timer began. There was not sufficient donations to provided the proposals target of 500k HBD.

Still DHF will proceed forward spending what it has at a rate of 2,777 HBD a day. So in terms of getting to 500k it is still possible as long as there is enough HBD to hit daily fix spend.

The importance of this proposal stems from keeping Splinterland’s on Hives Blockchain. Whether the game moves to a different chain is not fix on this proposal having to pass but ideally goal of having sufficient funds will allow the game to permanently stay on Hive.

There has been a lot of discussions since the proposal was brought out and people have various opinions. Some are in support to keep game on Hive while other have favor for game to be on some other blockchain.

I remember back in the day when I first joined Hive which back them was Steem. Ever since I started playing Splinterland’s the main reason I stayed with Hive is the game. Through the fork from Steem to Hive and all host of changes with Hive I have grown to accept and appreciate the blockchain. I love the fee less exchange of transactions and the speed of transactions.

I have used and seen other chains but I have mainly stocked with Hive. With that being said I want to stay with Hive as long as Splinterland’s remains using the blockchain. The game to me trumps that of the chain but the two go hand in hand very well.

Even Matt has a strong preference to stick with Hive. Yet it seems if push comes to shove the will lean more towards what Splinterlands decides to do. Stay or go I am with them for the long haul.
