There is nothing to say in regards to Splinterlands market cap except for the fact that everyone using Hive and playing the game is well aware that game assets' prices have exponential risen over the past month. In that amount of time my account had almost 10x from last year's value, simply amazing.
The following is a break out of my cards broken down by the series they fall under: Alpha, Beta, Untamed, Rewards, Promo, and Dice but in the order from my largest holding to my smallest.
My largest holding is in reward cards. Reward cards make up over half my total own DEC card burn rate. However I am only able to rent out daily in earning of about 555 DEC out of a possible 664. I have to work on figuring out how to earn DEC at better rates with my rewards cards.
My second most valuable holding is my alpha cards. Amazingly I am able to earn slightly over 1k of DEC a day from lending out my alphas out of a possible 1,034 DEC. That means a majority of my alphas are able to rent out and at decent earnings compared to rewards. The total present value of my alpha is still about $3k less than my rewards so I believe there is potential for more price appreciation with my alpha collection.
My third most valuable holding is my beta cards which presently is slightly worth more than $3k. I am only renting out a couple of beta cards as I am using majority of them hence my rental earnings with beta is minimal at 181 DEC a day. It is interesting though that for almost 100k DEC in burn rate for my beta cards that even this amount is slightly more than half of my alpha series, as 176k DEC burn value, but at only 1/3rd the value as compared to my alpha series. This makes me believe that alphas are much more in demand than beta as prices are higher with alpha cards in high demand.
Fourth in line is my Untamed collection. To many new players this would be a surprise as I lack much of a Untamed collection with a burn rate of just 63k DEC. I do not have many cards rented out in this edition but all are rented to earn me +65 DEC daily. I may have to look into renting out more since its still a decent collection relative to how much I earn from beta series.
Not far behind is my promo collection which is currently slightly less than Untamed with a total of 50k DEC burn rate. The total value is much less than my Untamed and I am not even earning much if anything in lending some of my promo cards as I am getting less than 18 DEC a day in this collection.
Finally my smallest collection is dice series. I am well aware of this since I recently added 3 legends in this collection over the month of July. So technically this series has been my largest growth for the month of July to go from 430 DEC burn rate to 3,430 DEC burn rate.
It is nice to break out each series of cards I own and see where I can potentially earn more in lending out my cards. Peakmonsters.com is where anyone can breakout their collections of cards and it is very easy to do. Under the tab "bulk view" and using filters of each card series one can break out what cards they own and much they are worth and how much they earn daily from lending.
In July with the introduction of SPS and the DEC price boom it has been the key ingredients in boosting the value of my collection. Even with the boom I still think there is potential for increase in price appreciation. For instance new features in earning SPS from play to earn in battles are yet to be introduced. Then there is the land plots coming live on the game. Then there are new features in reward cards from brawls. On top of all that new series of cards called Chaos Legions is planned to be introduced within the next month or two.
Goals for the month of August is to continue staking SPS. Hitting 1,000 SPS before end of August definitely achievable. In regards to cards I did make a big purchase in July as in getting a Lord Arianthus for close to $170 at level 3, bcx 5. Also a couple of dice legends to boot. For August it will hold true that if I do see a deal for a card that I believe will help me competitive I would definitely invest in it. For now I have yet to see a card/s that I really simply must have.
