This article is to elaborate on Cryptotvplus post recently about which crypto games to invest into. There were three games listed, Defi Kingdom, Splinterlands, and Alien Worlds. My post is clearly bias but I have seen all three games and can explain why Splinterlands is the best option to invest in out of all three at current state.
All in game tokens have been hit hard and some even worse than the current cryptocurrency draw down. No exceptions to the three in the games recommended. However the amount of in game assets earned / rewarded has been keeping the games with player interest. One of the three games that stands out with in game token is Splinterlands DEC. The game has been out for over three years and DEC has been fairly priced over the years. In fact it is currently price higher than pegged. No other game has an in game token over pegged priced.
DEC is pegged $0.001 each but for almost a year now it has been over that price and most of 2021 it was over 5x - 10x the pegged value. Although Splinterlands boom can in the time when the price of DEC was multiple factors but it seems the price has maintained above pegged to make the token a good long term hold.
In Defi Kingdom hero cards are the bread and butter of the game. Gen zero NFTs are the hottest value cards in the game by a long shot. However with this prices of cheapest cards versus most demanded widen there are less of in between priced cards.
Alien world for their part not capping the cards has made many of the cards loss value as time passes. Furthermore reward tokens not cap dilute the value of existing assets in circulation.
Splinterlands no way immune to the price drops as can be seen in the overall market cap price of cards falling. However there is a steady increase in cards to maintain overall value in the cards. This more players Splinterlands on boards the more cards are created to be distributed. The breakout of card series limits the creation of cards to control supply and main some sort of value to the existing cards.
In addition Spinterlands NFTs can be delegated, lend out to earn passive income, and even simply holding would earn daily SPS air drops. This is not the case for either Defi Kingdom or Alien Worlds.
A game that has proven itself that it has been successful for consecutive years is none other than Splinterlands. There are many options players can perform when playing Splinterlands. Once can play the game itself or be a collector of cards and rent out cards to earn massive income. Both Defi Kingdom and Alien Worlds can take pages out of Splinterland's success to copy.
