Quick Review of vfat.tools

For all those who feel overwhelmed as to where to even look for liquidity pools to farm in I am in the same boat. There are so many options and so many different ways to earn it is just overwhelming. Every day I look around whether through twitter or DefiLlama it is just a lot of information to digest.

Since I am only one of millions that does farming in crypto there are some experienced farmers out there willing to give a helping hand. Some farmers summarize major farms so that users like me don't have to go around looking for them but rather just go to a couple of resources to get the lastest and greatest pools out there. One of these tools is the website https://vfat.tools

I was following several cryptocurrency investors and stumbled upon someone's recommendation of vfat's website and from there I learn the man is one of the generous people trying to help anyone willing to listen in regards to the latest and greatest cryptocurrency farms.

One of the projects vfat setup is the vfat.tools which allows creators/developers on protocols that have has liquidity farms to get listed. I only learned recently that vfat.tools is a go to place from finding any and all the latest farms in many different chains.

The idea here is that in order for farming a liquidity pool to be profitable the pool itself needs to be easily accessible to all. That way many users can provide the liquidity creating the activity that will produce a successful pool. vfat reviews the proposed sites that creators/developers provide and if they hit all the requirements to be a farm, vfat will add it to vfat.tools.

Free to all the site is very basic as it is mostly texts and link text. However the site is filled with massive information regarding farming.

At the home page it lists all the different chains that has pools and if you click on anyone of them it redirects you to a consolidated list of liquidity pools associated to that chain. In addition on the home page is a list of liquidity pools on protocols that have multiple blockchains. For example the well known ones like 1punch and Sushi Swap. These and many other protocols that uses multiple blockchains are listed as "various".

My favorite for pooling is on Fantom and when ever I go on the site I usually look through the Fantom page.

Once I see something I am interested on the far right is a http site link to the site. vfat.tools is also a good place to go to the different protocols safely as I have heard stories that scammers post fake liquidity pools sites to lure in unexpected investors. On vfat.tools all the https have been reviewed and tested prior to it being listed on the site.

The best part with vfat.tools is that when you find a site link you are interested in prior to leaving vfat you should click on "various" and it will specifically generate a list of the latest information regarding the site of interest. Lets look at an example.

In Fantom if I choose fantomballoons and click on its "Various" I go to this page:

On here is a sentence clarifying that there is a 3% deposit fee in the pools if I am interested in farming in them. This will work on all the "Various" links but most will not have any info besides the site link. Still this whole process is pretty nice as there are many pools listed on this site.

Conclusions

Cryptocurrency is changing rapidity and so are the ways to earn. It is always great to have specific sites or people to go to for guidance when trying to find the next big hit. The time saved allows us to pursue other projects outside of farming as the world of Defi is huge. Hopefully this site will be of good use to others as much as it is for me.
