If you have some form of collection of Splinterlands cards that you wish to use to earn passive income in today's post I will show you a good approach on how to earn passive income by renting out the cards. The best part is this process is still free!
Peakmonsters.com is my go to website in order to perform this form of renting and what I will show you is a free way to rent out small amount of cards effectively.
Peakmonsters has created a monthly subscription in order to have access to tools that will allow end users to automate card rentals. However there are a small amount of tools that are still accessible free of charge that will allow players lend out cards at best daily prices automatically. I will show you how I approach this step by step.
Out of your card collection make a selection of around 1 to 20 cards. The idea of selecting a small group of cards and making it as a list will allow us to use a peakmonster tool that will automatically reprice rentals daily.
Once the cards are selected select list button and then manage list. Create a new list and name it something you can easily remember that can be later selected to be cards to rent out. I made a "Revise Rental Price" list and "Upside In Rental list".
The next step is to manually make the cards be placed in rental and set it to any price you would like, I suggest a high number so the cards may not likely be rented if the intention is to let peakmonsters choose the best prices to rent. This step very important as you will see why.
Now filter the list of cards to show rentals only and select compare market's lowest prices. Automatically on the right there is a new column of info listing cards you posted for rent and how much higher or lower the cards are from current market lowest rates.
For me I had a dozen of cards undervalue by as much as 10x! I would select these cards to have peakmonsters automatically update rental prices.
Under your profile there is an automatic rental tool icon when selected will bring up the screen shot shown above.
Select in exclusions the list of cards you want to reprice in rent. For me I will do Upside in rental. Then I keep all other values by default as its aggressive approach of peakmonster's automatic repricing. You can adjust which ever you want.
The idea here is that each month peakmonsters allows 1000 free re-price of rental cards and having it automatically reprice a small amount of cards, I recommend at most 100 cards, but I am currently using around 50 to rent out with the automatic rental re-pricing.
Splinterlands seems to be picking up activity as the prices of cards are rising. This also means likelihood of rising rental prices which can be seen in my earlier example where I had cards for rent at under market value by 10 times! You should look into it if you already have cards rented on the market and let peakmonsters automatically help you to adjust the prices according to market demand and be all free. For now this is still a free way to do so but not promising it will work in the future. Best of luck in what you plan on doing if you want to rent cards out.
