So many cryptocurrencies uses blockchains to account for transactions. From Bitcoin to Dogecoin and so on they each have their own blockchain. What I am learning first hand is when I am new and starting a wallet such as the one for dogecoin I did not realize that it takes days if not weeks to sync. So basically in order for me to read how much dogecoin I have I am having to sit here watching the numbers of blocks being synced.
I am new here and need a bit of help here in speeding this process up. I cannot believe that millions of people would be syncing their wallets for so long. There must be a place for each coin that uses blockchain to be linked to the most current data and I only need to know where that link is and reference it. Rather than to sit here still waiting until I can see my dogecoins. Am I missing something?
