Al leer esta frase hace que mi mente se llene de mucho ruido. A lo largo de nuestra vida siempre nos vamos a tropezar con diversos tipos de personas, seres agradables, simpáticos y otros no tanto. En la actualidad la gran mayoría de los ciudadanos velan por su propio bienestar sin importar el de los demás y eso es algo que confirmo cada día debido a la situación actual que atraviesa mi país.

Nowadays, the vast majority of citizens look after their own well-being without caring about the well-being of others and this is something I confirm every day due to the current situation my country is going through.
Caminando por las calles de la vida encontraremos a muchos perros sedientos de herir a cualquiera que pase por su camino. Familiares, amigos o conocidos. No todos se alegran por el triunfo de los demás, siempre va a existir esa pequeña mella de egoísmo o envidia que queda descubierta en sus mentes. Y pues, es algo totalmente normal, estamos hechos de muchas emociones, sentimientos y sensaciones. Pero esto no justifica el comportamiento de algunas personas que son verdaderamente terribles en este aspecto. Ese tipo de personas que le ven muchos lados negativos a una sola cosa y siempre tratan de llenarte de “peros” o simples excusas para así atormentar la tranquilidad de las personas que si están realmente enfocados en lo que quieren lograr. Su gran trabajo es llenar de incertidumbre e indecisiones. Personalmente tengo muchos familiares con este comportamiento, así que trato de mantener una distancia inmensa con ellos, mientras no se enteren de lo que hago para mí es mejor.
Walking through the streets of life we will find many dogs thirsty to hurt anyone who passes by. Family, friends or acquaintances. Not everyone is happy for the triumph of others, there will always be that little dent of selfishness or envy that is discovered in their minds. And then, it is something totally normal, we are made of many emotions, feelings and sensations. But this does not justify the behavior of some people who are truly terrible in this respect. Those kinds of people who see many negative sides to one thing and always try to fill you with "buts" or simple excuses in order to torment the tranquility of people who are really focused on what they want to achieve. Their big job is to fill you with uncertainty and indecision. I personally have many relatives with this behavior, so I try to keep a huge distance from them, as long as they don't find out what I do for myself is better.
Mantenernos enfocados en nuestros objetivos sin importar lo que digan los demás. Los buenos consejos siempre serán bien recibidos pero al final nosotros tenemos la última palabra. No debemos entrometernos en la vida de las personas porque no sabemos realmente cuál es su situación o circunstancia. Recuerda que es mil veces mejor dar una palabra de aliento antes que tu mente y alma se llenen de críticas innecesarias. Sigamos nuestro recorrido, en el camino encontraremos a muchos perros que nos ladraran al oído pero no desistamos, caminemos con tranquilidad porque perro que ladra no muerde y aquellos que se acerquen simplemente le damos una palmada y continuamos. Somos los escritores de nuestra propia historia, así que todo depende de nosotros lo que queramos dejar plasmado en este libro llamado vida.
Stay focused on our goals no matter what anyone says. Good advice is always welcome but in the end we have the last word. We should not meddle in people's lives because we don't really know what their situation or circumstance is. Remember that it is a thousand times better to give a word of encouragement before your mind and soul are filled with unnecessary criticism. Let's continue our journey, on the way we will find many dogs that will bark in our ears but let's not give up, let's walk calmly because a barking dog does not bite and those who approach simply slap it and continue. We are the writers of our own history, so it's up to us what we want to leave behind in this book called life.
