January 1, 2023. A New Year is upon us and I wanted to take this opportunity to put down some of my thoughts.
Coffee and Gundams. These are the two things that I really wanted to increase the level that I do them.
I was never a coffee drinker before as I was pretty much okay with 3 in 1 or vendo coffee. I would buy the occasional coffee from a popular coffee chain just to help out with stickers but I wasn't really a fan of expensive coffee. You can call me cheap but paying a over 3 dollars for a cup of coffee was not something I could wrap my head into.
I don't even drink coffee black and would often drown it out with sugar and either milk or creamer because I felt it was always bitter and acidic.
It was the pandemic and being stuck at home that really made me more interested in brewing my own starting from filter brewers, to drip coffee, french press and an espresso machine. It didn't help that I was always listening to James Hoffman talk about coffee. Having more control on the type of beans I use, the dosage I came to appreciate black coffee now and no longer think that black coffee drinkers are spawns of Satan 馃ぃ
With Gunpla models this was an old hobby that I had and built up an extensive collection which sadly I know has been thrown out. Anyway here is to me rekindling this hobby and starting off with some of the so called villains of the series.
