Terrible advice, which I am guilty of "buying into" as well.
What are some examples?
- You're so young. (This makes you procrastinate.)
- You've got potential (Even a fucking corpse can be turned into fertilizer, so everyone, dead or alive, has potential)
- Leaders are readers. (Not everyone learn by reading. The right thing to say is all leaders are learners.)
- Passion is everything. (No it's not. It's fucking over rated)
