Taking THE WEEKLY No. 14 - Lifestyle Lounge Blog Inspirations by jaynie@jaynie and doing this post.

I found the topic Me, Myself and I very interesting.

So here goes my attempt in answering the questions.

1. Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?
A. I compare myself to my mom. Sometimes I become too emotional over people or things or even pets and I have got these characteristics from my Mom. Even when it comes to family, I'm very attached to her so I compare myself to her in many of my traits as well as some hobbies too.

2. What do you wish you spent more time doing five years ago?
3. What do you wish you spent more time doing five years ago?
A. Five years is a huge time. Let's see. I guess I wished I would have spent more time with my family because I spent most of my time in Hostel's and Pg's and relative's house due to my studies. I had to shift to a complete different state. I used to crave to be with my parent's and siblings. I still do. Waiting for them to shift here permanently so that I can spend time with them.

4. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
A. Judging has become part of life these days. Incase nobody judged me, I would talk my heart out to people and do whatever I could and be more comfortable in public places. I would love to be a kid even at my present age.

5. Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
A. Oh Yes! This was one of my biggest achievements. I got my MSC Thesis paper published in the Medical Journal. I never thought I would be able to do this. But with the help of my Senior Professor, I was able to do it with lot of ease.

Another worthy memory is Standing up towards the Mental Harassment I was facing at my work place from our Dean. I am proud of it because a lot of professors came in front and finally stood up for themselves too looking at me. They in-fact were going through the harassment since years. So yeah, proud of myself.

6. If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
A. Well, If its for small kids, then I'm very comfortable teaching them all subjects apart from Geography and History. I am very bad at that.

If its specialisation, then, I'm a MicroBiologist professor by profession and would be very much happy and confident to teach regarding MicroBiology!

7. When you are 80-years-old, what will matter to you the most?
A. This is a tough one. I feel when I would be 80 years old, Family would still be the most important thing that would matter to me. Apart from this it would be my relationship with my friends and people around me.

8. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
A. Yes! Definitely I would break any low to save a loved one. I wouldn't want to regret later that I had a chance at saving that particular person and didn't do anything.
But yes, if the person was wrong, then I wouldn't save that person. But would try and help the person to realise where they were wrong and help in rectifying it too.

9. What鈥檚 something you know you do differently than most people?
A. I am a bit blank on this one. I don't think there is anything I do way different from others. Yes, I like to cook a little differently. I don't prefer following the usual recipe.
I also tend to use my phone for longer hours than normal and spend most of the day. video calling my mom and sisters. I am also a person who loves things simple rather than complicated.

10. What are you most grateful for?
A. Oh, grateful about a lot of things. But first and most important is Family. Very grateful to have them in my life. I'm also grateful for having a roof over my head, food on my plate, a loving and faithful Dog, best fiance and importantly, all the love, care and attention I get.
Also grateful for having a good health during this Covid19 pandemic!

Loved doing this question round and feel it's a nice way to get to know myself too.
