The Colorado Desert Shovel Nosed Snake is very similar to 3 three other snake species. The Western Shovel-nosed Snake, Mohave Shovel-nosed Snake, and the Tuskon Shovel-nosed Snake have similar striping patterns they just live in different parts of the world.
