I was 13 when I started collecting coins. I had a very limited budget. I was working in the fields at the time and got paid by the basket. As a kid, I couldn’t pick very fast, so my earnings hovered around $400 a month, so coins from the Second Polish Republic were something out of reach and intriguing, and that’s basically how it stayed.
