Skip Counting by 2's Lessons and Worksheets

In 2nd grade math, kids need to learn skip counting which is one of the most important elementary math skills. Once kids master skip counting they start to understand mental math such as adding and subtracting bigger numbers, times tables as well as counting coins.

Today we will explore skip counting by 2’s, which is the simplest skill to learn after learning counting large numbers. Below is the skip counting explained using a number line;
