This is a late 19th century painting by Floris Arntzenius. Currently, it is on display as part of the temporary exhibition Young in Teylersmuseum.
I really like it for its subtle story. On the foreground you see an angry cripled child which probably has been forced to sell matchsticks. The expression and posture is really well done. The most interesting component is the connection between the foreground and the background. If you look well then you can see that in the background well-dressed people are sitting in a fancy cafe or restaurant. The girl in the foreground is angrily looking in a different direction. Without looking at them she is telling how she feels.
