People often say there are better days ahead or there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but I never believed in such words.
I have tended to see life as a way of testing our strength, how far we can go, and how strong our faith is. But looking back now, I smile at myself and say, "Wow, is this really me?" I still can't believe I made it through all these years!

I can remember it just like yesterday 2022 the year I got admission into college. You’d think I would be happy or excited like everyone else lol but honestly my story was a little different deep down I had a lot of mixed feelings those feelings of kind of financial struggles waiting for me. Getting into the school wasn't the problem but surviving was the problem.

Before I resumed schooling I had already prepared my mind for hardship more like I knew it was going to be tough when am going to start school cause I knew the routine of you have to have enough cash before diving into school but I already imagined how tough it would be

Right from the start paying my school fees and acceptance fee was a huge problem it felt like I was being forced into school against my will because I couldn't see any joy in it at all. During my first semester, I almost gave up. The thought of quitting school crossed my mind many times. I remember sitting alone asking myself why fling through all the stress of being in school and couldn’t even afford all these bills.

There were days I would sleep on campus just to survive cause the distance from my home to school was not a small feat I got to an extent I worked on campus grounds in a food canteen where the pay was barely enough to buy a meal but I still held on. That small income helped me clear out some school bills and pay most of my bills and also feed me i was grateful then.

It was not easy it get to a point i told myself i couldn’t take it anymore i was feeling tired and weak the stress of juggling school, work and other activities was wearing me down badly i told myself i had to quit but people around me was telling me to stay strong that things will get better at first i was having my doubts cause if things should get better it should be now cause the struggle was real then.

Looking back now I am in my final year of my three-year program I still find it hard to believe how far I've come. Those moments that once felt unbearable have now turned into stories that inspire me. I have realized that all of it all shaped me into someone stronger and more determined.

Truly the word there are better days ahead really exists for anyone who refuses to quit it may seem hard, giving up shouldn't be an option all work would surely bring fruit.
