Heyyy, today I flowed around with knots :D I felt like doing a necklace, without having a plan, so I just stayed with it and tadaaa here is the result :)
Very happy with the new design that was created today :)
Let’s see a step by step photo serie:
Macramé is an ancient art of knots. There are many different things one can create, but whatever it is, it is magical. You are present, working precisly with your hands and mostly create for hours :D Your intentions are knotted into your piece of art and some may call it a meditation, but the way I perceive it, whatever you do in every moment you could call it a meditation :)
The mini macramé board is quite practical, especially when doing jewerly with a lot of ropes as you can see on this picture :)
Moonstone is a wonderful crystal, this one has some blue and silver tones in its shine, they are not easy to catch on a picture.
Here I flipped everything around, so now you see the other part of the stone (who was behind).
Almost done :)
This unique piece of art is now alive :D
If anyone is interested in learning how to do this design/pattern, let me now, I may create a little tutorial on request.
On youtube there are many tutorials about the basics of macramé, once you tasted the joy to play around with it, you can just go with the flow and create your own design :)
