This flower consists of 5 petals which are protected by additional petals (epicalyx) so that they look like two layers of flower petals. The flower crown consists of 5 or more sheets if it is a hybrid. Long cylindrical pistil stalks surrounded by oval-shaped stalks sprinkled with pollen.
