HECK
Arguably the most intense and insane live band in the world, took to the stage on the Earache Express directly after Ed Sheeran finished on the Pyramid stage. The Earache express was a London underground carriage transformed into a venue for Extreme Metal bands.
HECK thundered onto stage and instantly started leaping around everywhere, climbing on everything, even getting on the roof of the train stage
People stood on the train astounded as the gig ended up almost entirely in the smoking area. Various members of the band hanging off the railings screaming into microphones dangling off of various scaffolding.
Wall of Deaths, constant pits, and just general confusion as to whereabouts the members of the band were. It was complete chaos, but by god it was incredibly fun.
If you blinked for a second one of the band would flip off of something and appear somewhere else, it really did seem like some kind of magical acrobatics.
I even made it into a picture by the BBC, (i'm looking shocked next to the lead singer)
That was my third time seeing HECK and every time has been in my top ten gigs ever. This was on another level.
